14 Weeks!

How far along?  14 weeks!
Baby Size: A Lemon
Total weight gain/loss: I think I've gained about 4 lbs so far.
Maternity clothes?  Still wearing maternity pants and mixing in some maternity shirts with regular ones.
Stretch marks?  No... not yet.  But I did buy some Mustela creams and have started using it... I hope it helps ward them off.
Sleep:  Sleep was better this week.  Been able to stay up a little later than before and I have been sleeping through the night.
Best moment this week:  Starting to feel better!
Have you told family and friends:  YES!
Miss Anything? Sunday I really wanted a holy smoke sandwich from Kings, but since I can't have lunch meat I had to do without.  It's odd because I was never a huge sandwich person even before.
Movement:  Nope.
Food cravings:  Not really.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Chris' low fat parmesan cheese makes me super queasy.  He can't sit next to me if he puts it on his pasta!
Have you started to show yet:  I think so.  Though at the pool this weekend, to people who don't know I'm pregnant they'll just think I'm fat.
Gender prediction:  I'm going with girl.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Very happy... it's weird to think sometimes that there's a real baby inside of me!
Looking forward to: Shopping for the baby!

13 Weeks!

How far along?  13 weeks!
Baby Size: A Peach
Total weight gain/loss: I think I've gained about 3 lbs so far.
Maternity clothes?  Wearing maternity pants (just because they are so comfy!) and I've been mixing in some maternity shirts with my regular flowy shirts.
Stretch marks?  No... not yet.
Sleep:  I fall asleep early but then have trouble falling back to sleep after I wake up at 4 am to use the bathroom.
Best moment this week:  Announcing our pregnancy to all our friends and family.  Our parents and siblings knew but now we got to tell EVERYONE!
Have you told family and friends:  YES!  I'm so happy I can now be honest with everyone and talk about it!
Miss Anything? I miss my weekly sushi lunch and being able to color my hair!  But really, I am happy to give up anything for this!
Movement:  Nope.
Food cravings:  Not really, but I think I'm enjoying ice cream a little too much!
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Perfumes and colognes still bother me.  But thankfully my food aversions have almost completely gone away.  I still get queasy at night, but I don't think it's caused by anything in particular.
Have you started to show yet:  I think so.  It's a small bump, but it's definitely there.
Gender prediction:  Not sure, sometimes I think it's a girl, but I've had 2 dreams that it's a boy.  Chris won't guess.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Very happy, but when fatigue hits me around 6pm, all I want to do is be home and laying down!
Looking forward to: The Summer!  I'm also excited for the whole process... getting bigger, feeling movement, finding out the sex, decorating the nursery, having a baby shower, and meeting this little baby!

My pregnancy so far...

Chris and I decided we are going to take weekly shots so we can watch my stomach grow.  We bought this chalkboard on Etsy and each week I come up with a new design.  These are the weekly shots so far... I can't wait til I can really start to see a difference :)

Baby Flinn

So most of you have probably already heard the news from Facebook, but Chris and I are so excited to announce that we are pregnant!  Baby Flinn is expected to make his/her debut this Thanksgiving... we can't wait!

Mother's Day Weekend

Chris and I had a very fun Mother's Day Weekend!  For Christmas I gave Chris a gift certificate to drive an exotic car at a track down in Englishtown, NJ.  We decided to wait til the weather got better to use it and Saturday was the day we chose.  Chris was able to drive a Ferrari around the track 4 times.   We really lucked out with the weather... it was warm waiting for his turn, but I'm glad we got a bright sunny day.

Saturday night we met my parents at Ruth's Chris for a Mother's Day Dinner.  My mom had been sick all week so we were very glad that she was feeling better and could enjoy dinner.

Sunday, Chris and I went over to his parents' house for a Mother's Day BBQ.  Justin manned the grill and we brought our Tomato and Onion Salad that we learned to make at our cooking class last year.  After lunch we stopped by my parents' house to bring my mom her gift.  This year we got both of our moms some flowers :)

I hope everyone had an amazing Mother's Day.  Chris and I love our moms so much, and we hope we helped make their weekend special!
