The Kids Behind The Blog | June 2017

While I'm no longer really blogging, I love "The Kids Behind The Blog" linkup so much that I can't give it up!!!  Not only is it my favorite linkup, but I really love having these monthly interviews of Noah and would really regret it if I just stopped!  In case you are new here, Noah is my "kid behind the blog". He is 4 years old, goes to school 3 mornings a week, and spends the rest of the time home with me.  I have been recording our interviews on video and I love how it documents his personality, growth, and speech development.

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And in case you are new to the linkup, here's a little background information. We came up with this idea because we are such huge fans of "The Guys Behind the Blog" and wanted to create something similar to do with the "kids that made us mamas".  Each month, we have a set of questions to ask our kid(s) and we will share their answers on our blogs. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

This month's questions were:

1. Do parents get a summer break?
2. If you could change your name what would you change it to?
3. How much do you grow in the summertime?
4. Would you rather go to the beach or to Disney World?
5. What is your favorite kind of ice cream? Least favorite?

A few notes...
1. I have to admit that I take Summer pretty seriously and do tend to slack on my house cleaning and meal planning... so I guess I really do get a break ;)
2. This was my favorite answer this month.  And in case you don't watch tons of YouTube like we do, his first name was from Hobby Kids TV.
3. While his answer was a little exaggerated, Noah does tend to grow a lot over the summer!
4. I should be glad since we will be going to Disney Land next week, but I was kind of surprised he didn't say the beach since he really loves going there.
5. I am surprised he said he didn't like Strawberry... while it's no longer his favorite, just 6 months ago he was asking for it a lot!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on July 12th

July Questions:
1. What do you need to make s’mores?
2. What is your favorite summertime treat?
3. Would you rather fly in an airplane or ride on a ship?
4. How would you change the world if you could?
5. What comes after summer?

We really hope you will follow along and link up going forward!  As always, it will be on the second Wednesday of each month, on the following dates:

July 12 | August 9 | September 13
October 11 | November 8 | December 13

This month's questions were:

1) If you had a magic tree-house that could take you anywhere in the world where would you go?
2) Finish this sentence...red rover, red rover...
3) What is your best childhood memory? (this could be funny since they're all still kids!)
4) What is your favorite part about nature and being outside?
5) What do you think Mommy would like for Mother's Day?

A few notes...
1. Noah's love for Chipotle clearly runs deep!
2. I'm not surprised Noah had no clue how to answer this question.
3. When he was 3... haha!
4. Bike riding is always his go to answer about what he loves about outside.
5. While I was recording this video I just wanted him to sit up in his chair ;)

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

The Kids Behind The Blog | April 2017

In case you haven't noticed, I've been very MIA from the blog recently.  While I love this space, right now I feel like my time is better spent focusing on other aspects of my life.  At the moment, I'm not sure if this will be a temporary hiatus or a permanent one, but I'm enjoying the extra time.  So while I haven't had a regular post in a while, I can't turn my back on "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!

We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

This month's questions were:

1) What is your favorite thing about Spring?
2) If April showers bring May flowers what do May flowers bring?
3) What does a flower need to grow?
4) Do you like that it's starting to get warmer or do you like the cold and snow better?
5) What do you want to do over your Spring Break?

Bonus: What is your favorite thing about Easter?

A few notes...
1.  We have definitely been going on lots of walks and bike rides, but we haven't flown a kite since the Fall... I guess we better get on that!
2. I was kind of surprised he knew this saying... he told me later he learned it at school.  While I was trying to get him to say bees, I liked his answer even better!
3. I crack up how he says water like such a New Jersey kid!
4. Haha, I love that he loves Chipotle... just like me!!!  But we had Chipotle A LOT this winter, so I don't know what he's talking about!
5. This is Noah's go to answer whenever I ask him what he wants to do.  He is such a homebody! I'm actually amazed we get out of the house as much as we do!
Bonus: Those are all the things I love about Easter too!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

The Kids Behind The Blog | March 2017

Today I'm back with another installment of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  It's safe to say that it's one of my favorite linkups and I hope you feel the same way!

We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

This month's questions were:

1) What's at the end of a rainbow?
2) What do you like to do when it rains? Jump in puddles or play inside?
3) If you found a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow what would you do?
4) Tell me three ways you know it is spring time.
5) Do you wear green on St. Patrick's Day? What happens if you don't wear green?

1. We were kind of surprised he knew this.  After we stopped recording, Chris asked him how he knew that.  Noah told him "from YouTube" lol.
2. I'm not surprised he likes to jump in puddles.  Though I did think it was funny he says he would get in trouble.  I guess we do tell him not to jump in puddles in his sneakers more than I thought.
3. This cracked me up... especially the face he makes!
4. I loved his answers!
5. Again, his answer makes it sounds like he gets in trouble a lot... he really doesn't, I swear!

And while I didn't include it here, Noah also requested that he interviewed me as well.  This month all his questions were superhero related.  It was pretty funny and very cute!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

The Kids Behind The Blog | February 2017

I can't believe we are already into our second month of "The Kids Behind The Blog" in 2017!!!  This is technically our one year anniversary for this linkup, and it's still one of my favorites!  I really love recording our interviews on video and documenting his personality, growth, and speech development.

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And in case you are new to the linkup, here's a little background information. We came up with this idea because we are such huge fans of Betsy's "The Guys Behind the Blog" (which I've heard rumors will be brought back very soon by some of my favorite blogging friends!) and wanted to create something similar to do with the "kids that made us mamas".  Each month, we have a set of questions to ask our kid(s) and we will share their answers on our blogs. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

This month's questions were:

1) What does the word love mean to you?
2) Kids choice! How do you want to spend Valentine's Day?
3) Do you have a Valentine? If so, who?
4) How many days are in the month of February?
5) How do you show someone you love them?

1. Not really sure what I thought he'd say.  But I do think it's adorable that he asked "you allowed to tell me?".
2. While I have a few more fun things planned for Valentine's Day, I really love his ideas!
3. I have to admit that I would have loved if he said I was his Valentine, but I guess if I'm not, I'm glad his daddy is!
4. Noah still has no concept of time ;)
5. And Noah really does give the best hugs!
And once again he wanted an extra question.  This time he came up with it before hand and told me to ask it.

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on March 8th

March Questions:
1) What's at the end of a rainbow?
2) What do you like to do when it rains? Jump in puddles or play inside?
3) If you found a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow what would you do?

The Kids Behind The Blog | January 2017

I'm so excited that we are continuing "The Kids Behind The Blog" in 2017!!!  We even got a new graphic for the new year... and I'm loving it!!!  It really is one of my favorite link ups!

1.) What's your favorite thing to do or play inside?
2.) Have you ever seen or played in snow? If so, what's your favorite snow activity?
3.) What was your favorite Christmas or holiday gift you received?
4.) What's your favorite winter vacation you went on? Why?
5.) Would you rather live where it's warm all year round or have the seasons?

1. Board games... not at all surprised since we play them a lot!  And his favorite board game... absolutely cracking me up!
2. This was funny since we had just come inside from playing in the snow. And yet he couldn't remember that we just went sledding!
3. I love that he had to show off his favorite new toys!
4. This definitely required some prompting, so who knows what he would have come up with otherwise.
5. This answer shocked me!  Especially since he always says winter is his favorite season!

And he wanted me to ask him an extra question.  I was definitely not prepared, but I liked his answer :)

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

The Kids Behind The Blog

I can't believe this is the last "The Kids Behind The Blog" for 2016!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  And this month you even get to hear him sing!  And I hope you love Christmas as much as we do, because not only are all the questions Christmas related, but we have 10 questions this month instead of our usual 5!

1.) Which reindeer is your favorite?
2.) What do you want for Christmas?
3.) What would you do if you caught Santa at your house?
4.) What if Santa got stuck in your chimney?
5.) Do you want it to snow on Christmas? Why or Why not?
6.) Have you been naughty or nice this year? Why?
7.) If Santa asked you to fly in his sleigh with him would you do it?
8.) What is your favorite Christmas movie?
9.) If you could change the color of Rudolf's nose what color would you make it?
10.) Sing me one Christmas Carol (then note which song they pick and how they sing it. This could be funny because kids are always mixing up lyrics!)

I did end up mixing the order up a little bit.  I figured once he told me his favorite reindeer was Rudolph, I might as well follow up with the other Rudolph question.  I'm honestly not surprised at all by any of his answers this month.  I loved how practical he was if Santa got stuck in the chimney.  And clearly we need to watch some more Christmas movies!  But my favorite part, as I knew it would be, was him singing the Christmas songs.  I could listen to him sing all day!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on January 11th

January Questions:

1.) What's your favorite thing to do or play inside?
2.) Have you ever seen or played in snow? If so, what's your favorite snow activity?
3.) What was your favorite Christmas or holiday gift you received?

The Kids Behind The Blog

Another month of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  This month's questions were all Thanksgiving related.  We did manage to throw in an election related question, without getting too political ;)

1. What are 3 things you are thankful for?
2. What is your favorite food served at Thanksgiving dinner?
3. If you could be president for the day, what would you do?
4. How many feathers does a Turkey have?
5. Who is your favorite relative to see during the holidays?

And a few notes from the video...
    1.  I absolutely love hearing what little kids are thankful for.  They really are so pure and innocent.
    2.  I knew his answer would be funny... he really doesn't like the typical "Thanksgiving food".
    3.  Maybe we should just let a 4 year old run the country!
    4.  I'm not at all surprised at this answer... this is his go to answer when we ask how much something costs too.
    5.  I assume he's thinking about Canadian Thanksgiving just a month ago, when we saw my parents and his uncles.

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on December 14th. Since my co-hosts and I are crazy fans of Christmas, we couldn't narrow it down to just 5 questions this month.  So instead, we have 10 questions for you!  Feel free to ask your kid(s) all of them, or just pick and choose the ones that suit your kids the best :)

    December Questions:

1.) Which reindeer is your favorite?
2.) What do you want for Christmas?
3.) What would you do if you caught Santa at your house?
4.) What if Santa got stuck in your chimney?
5.) Do you want it to snow on Christmas? Why or Why not?

10.) Sing me one Christmas Carol (then note which song they pick and how they sing it. This could be funny because kids are always mixing up lyrics!)

And I'm very excited to announce that we will be continuing The Kids Behind The Blog in 2017!  It will still be on the second Wednesday of each month, on the following dates:

    January 11 | February 8 | March 8 | April 12 | May 10 | June 14

    The Kids Behind The Blog

Another month of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  I have to say I really loved this month!  Noah had some really cute answers and he was even cuter on video than usual... at least that's my unbiased opinion!

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And in case you are new to the linkup, here's a little background information. 1. What do you want to be for Halloween?
    2. Do you like handing out candy or collecting it?
    3. What should mommy and daddy be for Halloween?
    4. Do you like to make a scary or happy faces Jack-o-lantern?
    5. What is the best part of Halloween? What's the worst?

I don't have too many notes for the video this month.  Other than the major spoiler of what Noah's going to be for Halloween... so you'll probably want to watch!
I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on November 9th. Here are the questions...

    November Questions:

    1. What are 3 things you are thankful for?
    2. What is your favorite food served at Thanksgiving dinner?

    The Kids Behind The Blog

Another month of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  While I loved the questions for this month, I suspected I'd get either a lot of "I don't know"s or some very random answers.  And while I was right, I was pleasantly surprised with how well it went!

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! 1. What is your favorite sport? Why?
    2. If someone gave you a million dollars what would you buy?
    3. Tell me 3 things that kids do better than mommies and daddies.
    4. What is your favorite thing to do in the fall?
    5. Share with me 3 things you like about yourself.

And as usual, I have a few notes regarding the video and some of Noah's answers.
    • Noah's outfit and hair cracks me up.  He is currently obsessed with camo, and while I'm not against it per se (I actually bought him a camo winter coat!), it bothers me that the shirt doesn't match the pants (even though they are both Old Navy).  Ideally I'd love him to wear each piece with a solid top or pants, but he feels the more camo the better!  And even though we just got his hair cut, it just looks messy if we don't comb it and put a little gel in it.  I tried to do it before we started, but he was very against it.  You win some, you lose some.
    • Noah's favorite sport (or rather sports team) is pretty funny considering where we live!  Let's just say that Noah's Nonna, who's a Yankees fan, is not very pleased ;)  I have to acknowledge that Chris, who's a Mets fan, is handling it very well.
    • I think it's so funny that even with a million dollars, Noah would still just want more toys.  I guess we don't need to win the lottery!
    • I had a feeling that Noah wouldn't really know how to answer 3 things that kids are better at than mommies and daddies.  While his first answer was all on his own, and hilarious, I'm glad Chris was there with me to help him with some ideas.
I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on October 12th. Here are the questions...

    October Questions:

    The Kids Behind The Blog

Another month of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  The past few months we've done the interviews when daddy is home, where one of us does the interview and the other records it.  But this month got away from us, so I had to do the interview yesterday when Chris was at work.  Noah also has been excited to ask us questions as well, but this month he didn't bring it up, so I let it go.  I personally find it fun that we keep naturally mixing it up.

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And in case you are new to the linkup, here's a little background information. We came up with this idea because we are such huge fans of Betsy's "The Guys Behind the Blog" and wanted to create something similar to do with the "kids that made us mamas".  Each month, we have a set of questions to ask our kid(s) and we will share their answers on our blogs. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

    This month's questions were:

    1. What was your favorite thing you did over the summer?
    2. What’s your favorite thing to learn about at school?
    3. Who is your best friend from school?
    4. What do you want be when you grow up?
    5. What is your least favorite thing about school?

And as usual, I have a few notes regarding the video and some of Noah's answers.
    • I was kind of surprised Noah didn't have questions for me this month.  Though I did think his answer to what he wanted to be when he grows up was cute, and quite appropriate.
    • I think he's confusing camp with school because he learned about dinosaurs during dinosaur camp and had to ask for clarification on what I meant by "school" for the best friend question.  I hope he isn't disappointed when he starts school again and it isn't dinosaur camp ;)
    • But based on the answer to the last question, I think the new school year will be great!
I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on September 14th. Here are the questions...

    September Questions:

    1. What is your favorite sport? Why?
    2. If someone gave you a million dollars what would you buy?
    3. Tell me 3 things that kids do better than mommies and daddies.
    4. What is your favorite thing to do in the fall?
    5. Share with me 3 things you like about yourself.

    The Kids Behind The Blog

Another month of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  I am really loving this link up and it's proving to be a really great way to document Noah throughout the course of a year.  I really love recording our interviews on video because it really shows his personality, growth, and speech development.  And it's pretty darn hilarious to watch him copy me and ask his own questions each month!

As much as I love asking Noah the questions each month, I also have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And in case you are new to the linkup, here's a little background information. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

    This month's questions were:

What 2 things do you like to do outside in the summer?
If you could go anywhere this Summer where would you go and why?
What is your favorite thing about summer?
If you could pick any way to spend a hot Summer day, how would you spend it?
What is your favorite Summer treat?

Just like the last few months, Noah had some questions of his own.  Though I'm starting to notice that they are very similar questions each month ;)  You can also see that Noah is currently in the potty humor phase, full force!

And as usual, I have a few notes regarding the video and some of Noah's answers.
    • While I easily could leave out the part where Noah asks me his questions, I find that it really shows Noah's personality.  I also love watching him run with his own ideas.
    • And while I easily could have edited out his "poopy" question, it just really shows you what Noah is interested in at this age.  We hear about poop at least 100 times a day!
    • I was impressed with Noah's answers that they actually made a lot of sense.  The only one that didn't really was the what he liked best about summer... really, flowers???
    • And I can't help but laugh that his favorite treat is Swedish Fish!  He's always been a fan but since we picked up the family size bag, he's been obsessed.  And I'm a little embarrassed to admit that we've already had to buy another family size bag!  I also think it's hilarious that he thinks they are "sweet-ish" fish!!!

    The Kids Behind The Blog

It has now been a few months since we started "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  Noah really loves that I ask him questions each month and that I record our "interviews".   I love that each month Noah gets more comfortable with the process and is giving me more with his answers.  I also love watching his speech grow and that I have it documented on video.

This month's questions (in honor of Father's Day!) were:

What do you like doing with Daddy?
What was Daddy like as a little boy?
    What's Daddy's favorite food?
What does Daddy do at work?
What is your favorite memory of Daddy?

Since this month's questions were all about dads, I thought it would be fun for Chris to do the interviewing.  He's done it once before and I figured it was fair since I got to do it last month for all the mom questions.  Once again, Noah decided he had some questions for daddy as well... check it out!

And as usual, I have a few notes regarding the video and some of Noah's answers.
    • Noah's questions crack me up because they are all about his toys and tv shows!
    • Since I'm with Noah all the time, I have no problem understanding Noah.  But I'm learning that his speech is still a work in progress.
    • I love that he kept asking me to "tell me" the answers.  Though I have to admit that I was surprised he didn't know that watermelon was Chris' favorite food all on his own ;)
I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

    The Kids Behind The Blog

It has now been a few months since we started "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!!  Noah really loves that I ask him questions each month and that I record our "interviews".   I feel like this link up came at the perfect time for us.  Noah just started talking more and I feel like these monthly interviews are really showing such a progression in his speech.  I'm also obsessed that we can now have real conversations with each other.  I've even borrowed part of Tawnya's nightly routine by asking Noah before bed what his favorite part of the day was.  Often times it's whatever big activity we had that day, but sometimes it's as simple as "bath with daddy" or "coloring".  Also part of our nightly routine is talking about what we are going to do the next day.  The night before Mother's Day, I was telling Noah all about our breakfast and dinner plans, but also that I'd be asking him some questions for our monthly interview.  He was so eager that he wanted to do it right then.  So I improvised and made up a few questions on the fly... like what his favorite TV show and toys are.  He then told me he had some questions for me... my favorite tv show, toy, and store!  I just love that he loves this new tradition as much as I do!

What is something I always say to you?
    What makes Mommy happy?
How do I make you laugh?
What do you enjoy doing with me?
What is my favorite thing to do?

Since this month's questions were all about moms, I thought it would be fitting to record our interview on actual Mother's Day.  And just like in the past, I thought it would be fun to record Noah answering the questions. But this time, Noah said he had some questions for me as well (just like the night before), and he wanted to go first!  It's not every day I get interviewed on camera... check it out!

And as usual, I have a few notes regarding the video and some of Noah's answers.
    • I absolutely love that Noah wanted to interview me this month too!  And I find it hilarious that he made us switch seats half way through because the interviewee had to sit in the corner spot!
    • A few of Noah's answers really confused me.  Like what makes him laugh... I'm still not sure how Home Depot makes him laugh!!!
    • And since I've watched the video back, I realized that when I asked him what he likes to do with me, that he really said "Then it's daddy's turn".  He didn't really answer the question, but instead was telling me that he wanted daddy to ask some questions next.  First it was Noah, then mommy, and then daddy.  Even though Noah's speech has improved a lot, there are still many times where we don't fully understand what he's saying.  I'm just glad he doesn't get frustrated and upset with us when it happens.
    • I also can't help but laugh that he got up halfway through to go get a Thomas train and the loud crash when the Thomas carrying case fell to the floor.  This is real life people!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on June 8th. Here are the questions...

June Questions (in honor of Father's Day!):

What do you like doing with Daddy?

    The Kids Behind the Blog

It's hard to believe that we are back with the third installment of "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!! While I may be biased, this really is one of my favorite link ups! I have so much fun reading what your and my co-hosts' (Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie) kids have to say each month! And just in case you are new to the linkup, we came up with this idea because we are such huge fans of Betsy's"The Guys Behind the Blog" that we wanted to create something similar to do with the "kids that made us mamas".  Each month, we will have a set of questions to ask our kid(s) and we will share their answers on our blogs. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

    This month's questions were:
What is your favorite thing to do with your friends?
    Who is your favorite person?
When playing outside, what do your ideal sunny day plans look like?
What do you like to do when it's raining? (Since April showers bring May flowers)
If you could plant a garden of anything, what would you plant?

And just like last month, I thought it would be fun to record Noah answering the questions. While in the past, I've asked Noah the questions during the week, this time I waited and did it when Chris was home.  Not only that, but Chris was the one who asked Noah the questions!!!  And Noah loves these interviews so much, that he wanted a bonus question!  Check it out...

Just a few notes based on Noah's answers.
We were surprised that Noah said he liked to play Octonauts with his friends.  It's one of the few toys he asks to put away when we have play dates because he doesn't want anyone else messing with it!
In case you don't know what a stomp rocket it, here it is.  It's super cool!  Noah's cousin (and favorite person) gave it to him for Christmas.
We were not at all surprised that Noah said jumping in puddles!

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month. Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on May 11th. Here are the questions...

May Questions (in honor of Mother's Day!):
What is something I always say to you?
    What makes Mommy happy?
How do I make you laugh?
What do you enjoy doing with me?
What is my favorite thing to do?
