Easing into Fall | Chambray

This fall, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite seasonal trends.  These are pieces that I will rely heavily on and plan to wear over and over.  One of my favorite trends for fall, or rather all year round, is chambray.  I love how depending on how you style it, it works for all seasons.  And there are so many different ways you can wear it, the options really are endless!   I know I will be wearing this chambray shirt a lot over the next few months!

So far this year, I've worn both long sleeve and sleeveless chambray, pairing them with white jeans and patterned shorts to keep them more suitable for spring and summer.  One of my favorite pairs of shorts this summer were chambray... they were comfortable and stylish!

tops: chambray blouse | chambray sleeveless blouse (Loft) | gingham blouse (Loft)
bottoms: white jeans | patterned shorts (Loft) | chambray shorts (Gap)
shoes: gladiator sandals (Old Navy) | leather sandals (in black) | white Soludos

But this fall, I'm looking to try something different with my chambray.  I'm going to try pairing my light chambray top with my dark rinse jeans.  I know that wearing a "Canadian tuxedo" has been considered very unstylish in the past, but it's really "in" right now... as long as you make sure the shades are different.   And while I've been a little hesitant to give it a try in the past, I really like how it looks!

Side note: Can I just tell you how awkward it is to take outfit photos when you are nervous about running into a bear, turkeys, or a male deer.  Thankfully, we didn't encounter any wildlife.  Instead, I just felt ridiculous when it seemed like every neighbor decided to come outside as we were taking these!

Outfit details:
Chambray blouse (Old Navy)
Jeans (Old Navy)
Purse (Old Navy - in black)
 Lace up flats (Lucky Brand)
Watch (Michael Kors)
Earrings (Kendra Scott)

How do you plan to style your chambray this fall?
