Sesame Place with the Cousins | Water Slides, Characters, and Dancing!

Happy Friday!  Noah's cousins have been visiting for the week and will be heading home tomorrow.  Of course we had to experience quite the heat wave while there were here, meaning we were either doing inside activities or finding ways to stay cool.  We had plans to go to Sesame Place, so to combat the heat we stuck to the water rides.   We've been to Sesame Place many times, but this was the first time for my brother and his family.

We got there right when they opened and immediately went to the water slides!  We rode a few before heading to lunch and then we were right back at it!  Noah has his favorite water slide, was still hesitant about the lazy river because he's so nervous about getting wet from the waterfalls, and spent a good chunk of time at the wave pool staying cool.

Since we had a large group, we tried something new for lunch.  For the first time, we did the Character Lunch.  Not only was it really nice for the nine of us to just walk in with a table waiting for us, but there was plenty of food options for everyone.  The best part though, was how much fun the kids had!  They got to meet and take photos with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie, and Zoe when they came around to all the tables.   And after we ate, we all had a super fun dance party with all the characters... make sure to check out the video!

Here's a fun video from our lunch.  I don't share my dance moves with just anyone, so you should feel special ;)  I also learned that Noah has quite the moves too!

After all the sun and dancing, Noah was exhausted.  He fell asleep one minute into our drive home... with his new buddy, Bert!
