Mommy Style | Volume 7

We just got back from our almost week vacation down in Turks & Caicos.  I plan to post a few trip recaps... on the resort we stayed at, what I packed, and a few tips on traveling with a 3 year old.  In the meantime (and since I have approximately a million and one photos to go through) I figured I'd share some of my mommy style outfits from before we left.  It's weird to be sharing so many winter looks when I was living in a swim suit and maxi dress for the last 5 days.  Hopefully the next installment I share will be some new spring looks!

Day at home...

Since I only left the house to bring Noah to and from school, I kept it simple by wearing jeans and a comfy t-shirt.  I added the scarf for warmth and to add some color to my outfit.

A casual dinner, just the three of us...

We decided to go out one Sunday evening rather than cook at home.

A trip to Ikea...

And more gingham!  It was a mild day where a jacket wasn't needed!   I even got to show my ankle without freezing!

Watching Noah at swim school...

Noah told me I should wear this purple watch that Chris got me years ago but I haven't worn in way too long!  I noticed when we got to swim class that the battery was dead.  Fashionable, but not at all practical ;)

Cleaning...

After dropping Noah off at school, I headed home to clean the bathrooms.  I live a super glamorous life ;)

A new purchase for spring!

I am obsessed with these Soludos and was excited to add a white pair to my collection :)

A birthday brunch and dinner...

It was a little warmer (it hit 60!), so I was able to wear a lighter top and even go without a jacket!

On my birthday...

I dropped Noah off at school, did some packing at home, and then had lunch out with Noah and my mom.

A day full of kid birthday parties...

While this look is somewhat similar to above, the detailing of the sweater is different.  This is more gray than cream, it's a slightly thicker sweater, and it has a split back.  I love the look of lighter colored tops for the spring, especially when paired with a pastel colored necklace!

Another birthday dinner...

Noah gave me this blouse for my birthday (it was on my wish list) and I knew I wanted to wear it right away!  My final birthday celebration with my family was the perfect place to wear it.  I like that this shirt can be worn with full long sleeves, or rolled up and secured with some button flaps (is that what you call them??).  I'm also in love with the feminine print!
