The Kids Behind the Blog | February 2016

Today is the day! It's our first official link up for "The Kids Behind The Blog"!!! Crystal, Beth, Jessica, Stephanie and I are such huge fans of Betsy's"The Guys Behind the Blog" that we wanted to create something similar to do with the "kids that made us mamas". So each month, we will have a set of questions to ask our kid(s) and we will share the answers here each month. We sure hope that you will do the same and link up with us each month! We can't wait to read what your kids have to say!

This month's questions were:
1. Where is your favorite place to go?
2. Who is your best friend?
3. If you could be a superhero what would your superpower be?
4. What is your favorite candy?
5. Who is your valentine?

I thought it would be fun to record my interview with Noah.  Noah just recently turned three, and while I understand him really well, I often have to "translate" for strangers.  So while I definitely wanted to document what he sounds like at this age (because it's stinking adorable), I also wanted to share how he came about his answers.  I love watching his little brain work, figuring out what I'm asking and then coming up with an answer.  Some were predictable, while others surprised even me!  And while his answers are cute on their own, there's something about how excited he was to do the interview and how he talks that just makes it that much more adorable :)  Check it out...

I may be biased, but I think he's just the cutest thing going.  I have to admit that I wish he had said I was his valentine, but hey, at least you know I didn't "lead the witness" ;)

I'd love for you to share what your kids had to say this month.  Just grab our button and link up at the bottom of the post! Also make sure to stop by Crystal, Beth, Jessica, and Stephanie's blogs to see how their cute kids answered!

And as for next month, the link up will go live on March 9th.  Here are the questions...

March Questions:
What do you enjoy doing with Mommy and Daddy?
Name one thing you are really good at?
What's one thing that Mommy and Daddy tell you often?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
What do you think Mommy and Daddy do when you go to bed at night?

  1. Ha ha! Elephant!!! I'd chose elephant too. So cuddly! We love skittles in our house too. If we have any daddy usually eats them all.

  5. haha that was adorable. I always like to hear voices too. I did an interview with Aria like this probably a year ago now. I need to do another now!!! Maybe she'll be more understandable =) I like how he says 'yeah'. Noah...'yeah'. That was cute.

  12. He's soo cute! I am loving this link-up! And I;m impressed how you didn't bait him into saying you're his Valentine. I was totally talking to the screen saying "Your mommy is your valentine! Say Mommy!" hahaha
