Mommy & Me Book Exchange Link-Up

This is our second year participating in the Mommy & Me Book Exchange.  We absolutely love books around here and Noah loves opening gifts, so I knew we had to participate in it again.  And knowing that I can make another child smile by sending them a wrapped Christmas book just makes my day :)  Michelle and Gaby sent us a box full of goodies.  Not only did she send us each a book, she included some Christmas Pez for Noah and Werther's caramels for me.  I seriously wonder how she knew those were some of our favorite candies!!!    I just wish she had a blog or I knew her Instagram account so that I could personally thank her!

Noah got Press Here by Herve Tullet and I got Is Everyone Hanging Out Wihtout Me? by Mindy Kaling.  I can't wait to curl up by the tree with a cup of hot cocoa and read it.  Not sure when I will find the time to do that, but a girl can dream right?  On the other hand, we've already read Press Here at least 20 times.  We've read it at least once every day since we got it.  I love how simple yet interactive it is and Noah is equally obsessed with it.  If you haven't read it yet, order it ASAP!  We loved it so much, that I just ordered Mix it Up by the same author.

We were paired with Jess and Sadie over at Sadie Sky Blog.  I had a blast picking a book out for Sadie, since I'm not really used to picking "girl" books out.  It was a nice change of pace from buying books all about trains and trucks!  And since Jess is currently expecting, I had to send her a little treat to enjoy while reading her book.  Head on over to her blog to check out what we sent :)  And while you are there, make sure you check out her online boutique of the most adorable headbands!

  2. I picked up Press Here while we were at Target to see if Aria thought it was neat, but she had no interest. I was a little bummed because it seems so cool! That was however months ago. So I think we need to try again. What a fun concept for a book. Love the pictures of Noah by the tree too.
