When we were in State College a month ago, we picked up some new Penn State clothes and other "stuff" for Noah. He had outgrown his first jersey, so we knew we wanted to replace it. Last year, we took Noah to our town's high school football field to throw the ball around and take some pictures, and we knew we wanted to do the same this year. Funny (or sad) thing is that we did this Labor Day Monday, right after Penn State had a disappointing loss for their first game (against Temple). The good news is they redeemed themselves and won their second and third game. Regardless of how the team does this season, Noah had a blast "playing" football and looked super cute in his jersey!
^^^ we think Noah confused football with soccer, because he had no interest in throwing the ball and instead just wanted to kick it into the soccer nets!
^^^ Daddy jumped over Noah, so Noah of course wanted to do the same to Daddy ;)
^^^ since Noah seemed to like kicking the ball so much, we let him play some real soccer before heading home. We've decided we will sign him up next Spring ;)
Love love love all these pictures!!!! I cannot wait for Liam to play football, even though that is many many years away. We'll start Liam in soccer once he is four though, so next Fall I will officially be a soccer mom!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! These pictures. I'm dying!!! I don't know how I feel about Mason playing certain sports when he's older (some are pretty violent, like football!) but pictures like this when they're younger kill me. Frame that last one FOR SURE!
