In hopes to share some more random information about Chris, I'm back today for The Guys Behind the Blog link-up. Since Chris works long hours, I email him the questions and he responds the same way. Last month, he initially responded with very short answers. I asked him to elaborate and I got full paragraph answers as a result. After many people commented on the length and detail, Chris realized that the other husbands weren't asked to elaborate like he was. So this month I got some shorter answers ;) I also thought it would be fun to add a little commentary to his answers...
1 // What is your all time favorite food?
Chris: Favorite all-time food is pizza.
Meghan: I'm totally not surprised, and apparently Noah has inherited this love!
2 // Who is the cook between you and your significant other?
Chris: Usually Meghan cooks since I get home pretty late from work each day. I handle all of the BBQ's and occasionally some fajitas or things of that nature.
Meghan: While I handle most of the cooking, Chris is a huge help in the kitchen! Whenever we are having people over he cuts up all the veggies and fruit. I also like that whoever does the cooking, the other one does the dishes.
3 // What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Chris: The weirdest thing I've ever eaten was down in Puerto Rico when I tried alligator. Wasn't that bad!
Meghan: I had no clue he had ever tried alligator... still learning new things about each other!
4 // Are there any foods that you absolutely detest?
Chris: I detest salad dressing, mayo, and mustard. No actual "foods" though.
Meghan: I find this really funny cause I love salad dressing and miracle whip. It's always funny when he orders salads without dressing... the waiters always seem surprised.
5 // What is your favorite local, little-known, or hole in the wall place to eat?
Chris: Favorite restaurant is probably a Mexican place called Jose Tejas. There are a few locations in NJ. Can't beat the "EAT" sign off the highway.
Meghan: I knew that he liked this restaurant since he picked it one year for his birthday, but I had no clue it's his FAVORITE restaurant. We've only been there a couple of times since we met.
Also, don't forget to link up your back to school posts!
That's awesome that Chris can cook and help in the kitchen! I love that about Conor too... Makes life easier!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about guys and pizza?!!! :) I've had alligator too - it tastes like chicken!
ReplyDeleteHahaha my husband's answers were super long too! But I love it. I don't think I would love alligator though.. I imagine it to be very chewy?
ReplyDeleteHe hates salad dressing??? So he literally eats salad with no dressing? This is so interesting to me because I HATE dry salads! Haha.
