Shopping with a toddler

Last week, I took Noah with me to do a return at Loft.  I had ordered some things online that I didn't love and I wanted to get some new denim shorts while I was there.  Well of course I found some other cute things!  Good news is, with all the sales going on, my return offset my new purchases :)

It's always harder trying on clothes with Noah in tow, but I have to say he did really well.  I only had to remind him a few times not to open the door while I was trying on clothes ;)  I also learned that Noah has some pretty specific tastes!  He picked out multiple neon yellow shirts for me to try on (I didn't like the fit of any of them).  He also wanted me to get the elephant print shorts shown below.  While I am a lover of elephants, I don't necessarily want them on my butt ;)

While Noah had fun helping me pick out clothes, his favorite part of any shopping trip is paying (which ironically is my least favorite part).  As soon as we get to the register he says, "up", as he wants to sit on the counter and see everything that's going on.  He loves helping me swipe the credit card and sign the electronic keypad too!

I ended up leaving with the denim shorts and printed elastic waist shorts as well as a dress and a few tank tops :)  I have really been loving Loft recently and love their sales even more!  As of this past weekend, everything was 40% off!

  3. I refuse... REFUSE!! to take Connor shopping with me! Once we were at ON, James, too!, and Connor was petting the dog at the front of the store and asking the "girl" and "boy" to go to the park to play. I'm sure folks that he was cute but I think he look crazy talking to mannequins.

  4. You go, girl! I agree, shopping with the littles can be rough. Grocery shopping...not so bad bc I feel like they can be contained in the cart and occupied with free cookies. LOL! Now, clothes shopping...I bow down to you! I honestly can't remember the last time I took the kids to try on clothes. Hence why I wear the same thing every.darn.day. ;) Oh and BTW - you look amazing!
