Five on Friday

Today I'm here to share a few of my favorite things at the moment.  They are kind of all over the place, but enjoy!  Have a great weekend!

Since Valentine's Day is next weekend, I've been putting Noah in his Valentine's Day shirt as much as I can.  I purposefully got him the one with the motorcycle on it hoping he would choose to wear it over his usual favorites (diggers, Curious George, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, etc).  Chris and I don't have any fancy plans this year, but I found a few options that would work for the holiday and any other time this year.  While the heart t-shirt is probably more practical for my current lifestyle, I love the pink sweater with the sheer back... it gives that extra little something to a simple sweater.

We just recently ordered this toilet seat for Noah.  We are in no rush to potty train him right now and I don't plan to until this summer at the earliest.  I always like to be prepared so we ordered it early.  The other day, when Noah was in the bath, it looked like he was about to poop.  We asked him if he'd like to sit on the toilet and he said yes.  So we got the seat, put him on, and while he didn't do anything, he LOVED sitting on it.  He seemed so proud of himself and knew he was doing something grown up!  I'm not sure how long it will take for him to actually go while on it, but like I said, I'm in no rush!

I recently purchased this online class, Capture Real Life in 52 Weeks.  I already use Project Life and make annual photo albums for our family.  I thought this would be a good class to improve how I capture our everyday life on a weekly basis.  I might share some of my photos as I go.

There's something about the snow outside and the frigid temperatures that make me wish for Spring.  Since the weather won't change for a while, it makes me want to at least decorate for it on the inside! I found these 2 beautiful pillows at Target that just scream Spring to me.  Part of me says to choose the more colorful one while another part says to play it safe and pick the turquoise pillow (I tend to decorate with a lot of blues and teals).

This Spring, I really want to get a new wreath.  I have one for the fall and the winter, but not for the spring or summer.  I love the look of the Boxwood wreaths and found this on at Target.  I'm not sure if this is a good price for one, so I still plan to look around for one.  But if I can't find one I like somewhere else, I will definitely be heading back to Target!

I'm linking up with The Farmer's Wife and September Farm for "Oh Hey Friday"

I'm also linking up with DarciAprilChristina and Natasha's blogs for their Five on Friday!
