Weekend Pictures

We had a pretty great weekend.  Chris actually got home on time Friday night... yay!  Chris and Noah played and ran to the grocery store Saturday morning and let me sleep in :)  We then headed to swim class.  Noah hasn't really been into it recently.  Not sure if he's just over swim class or if the water has been too cold.  Next week I'm gonna go in with him instead and see if it makes a difference.

We came home for lunch, showers, and a nap.  In the afternoon, we headed out to look at Christmas trees.  We are buying an artificial tree and wanted to see them in person before ordering.  We also went to Home Depot and bought a ton of lights, for the tree and for outside.  We are all set for Christmas!  We stopped for dinner on our way home at this place called Turf & Surf.  It's about 10 minutes from our house and Chris has been wanting me to try it for a while.  Their burgers were really yummy, so I imagine we will be going back again soon :)

Saturday evening, Chris played with Noah while I cleaned up and folded some laundry.  While he napped we had gone through his toys and put away his "baby toys".  They played with his trains in the basement until Noah found the boxes with said baby toys.  Of course that's what he wanted to play with!

On Sunday, we went to Nonna & Granddad's house and then went out to brunch at Stonehouse.  Chris' parents were excited for us to go because they have live music on Sundays and they knew Noah would love it.  Noah was great, had a ton of fruit, muffins, and orange juice.  Then he was mesmerized by the live music the rest of the time!

Chris raked some leaves during Noah's nap.  Noah was so excited to join him when he woke up!

We ran some errands, including a trip to the grocery store.  We wiped them clean of Oikos Bananas and Cream Greek Yogurt!  We also picked up a rotisserie chicken to have for dinner (and leftovers for the week).   I think we are the first to use the self checkout with over 40 items!!!

We finished the weekend by spending the evening just hanging out.  Chris and Noah love to play this Bubble Guppies puzzle game on his phone.

You may have noticed that I said I was going to watermark my pictures and then last week kind of dropped the ball.  It's because whenever I used a brush in Photoshop, it would cause the program to freeze!  I finally googled the problem and it turned out to be a common one with the new operating system on Macs.  I installed a plug-in and now everything is back to normal :)

  1. Christmas tree shopping, how exciting! I don't know if I would have been able to walk out of the store without one, even if I was planning to just go order online right after, HA! I'm dying to put up my Christmas decor but we are waiting until the day after Thanksgiving.
    Sounds like a good weekend!

  2. Oh my gosh, I am so excited to see your house over Christmas! I've been loving how you've been decorating so I'm excited to see for the holidays :)
So cute Noah helped on the self checkout! Hope you didn't get overcharged for anything lol. I can just see Mason there... beep beep beep... on the same item over and over!
