House Updates and a Happy Canada Day!

Let me start off by wishing all my Canadian readers a Happy Canada Day!   My whole family is Canadian and it's just my immediate family currently lives in the United States.  I'm trying to pass some Canadian pride down to Noah by having him wear a Canada shirt today ;)

We closed on our house last Monday, and since then we've been back and forth to the house every day!  The painters started last Tuesday, and I've been dropping by to make decisions and wait for furniture deliveries every day.

Chris' parents got us an amazing grill as our housewarming gift!  My parents got Noah his own grill too :)

Our patio deck furniture was delivered!  It's so nice to be able to sit out here and watch Noah play while we wait for furniture instead of standing all day!

Our dining room set was delivered too, we are now just waiting on the seat cushions.   The table extends to seat up to 12, but we are storing the remaining chairs in the basement until we need them.

The painting is almost done, here's a sneak peek of our master bedroom!

We currently have our handyman doing a bunch of odd jobs around the house and an electrician is scheduled to replace some light fixtures and add a light and some outlets.   I'm so excited how everything is turning out and I can't wait to show you more!

  1. Happy Canada Day! I love that little grill - I've never seen one of those before. What a great idea so he can grill right along with you guys. Mac would absolutely love that!

  2. Happy Canada Day! I am totally obsessed with those little grills, I think they are the cutest! I think Aria would get such a kick out of it, just like dad's.

  4. Love that grill!!! I so want one for Mason but I've been debating between 3 online. Do you like it? Does it seem like it's good quality? Mason is relatively tall...do you think that grill is a good size for Noah?
