My baby is 18 months old! It's so much fun to see his personality emerging. The first year of his life was full of physical milestones, but since he's turned 1 I find the biggest changes are his personality! Even though he isn't super verbal, he understands so much and is always able to communicate with us. He is such a happy boy and it's a pleasure being his mom. So now that he's 18 months, do I have to stop describing his age in months???
What's New:
Noah has learned some new body parts this month. In addition to his ear and belly button, he now knows his nose and his hair. The other day, I was putting his shirt over his head, and he put his arms through the arm holes all on his own!
Wears:
Eats:
We switched Noah to 2% milk because of his constipation. So far it's helped, but really we should be cutting down on the milk in general. He also LOVES these Dannon yogurt smoothies and would eat 3 in a row if I let him. He also loves to share my Multigrain Cheerios for breakfast. I think his favorite snack ever though is goldfish crackers… a typical toddler :)
Teeth:
Talks:
While the things Noah says don't resemble real words, I can tell he's really trying to talk. He and Chris will yell "ahhh" back and forth.
Loves:
Noah's favorite song is "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". He will do the hand motions along with the song and then at the end he will clap his hands and make a sound that means "again". It's the cutest thing!

Noah still eats meals in his high chair, but recently he found his booster seat and likes to sit in it at random times.

He's getting better at sharing and is really good at giving back the toys and musical instruments at music class. It's nice to see him maturing :)

Hates:
Noah hates what every toddler hates, being told "No". He wants what he wants and if I don't give it to him or let him do something, he cries. Thankfully he's still easily distracted, but it's still no fun. It's really not fun when he pulls my hair or throws things at me. I have yet to find the right way to stop this behavior.
