Five on Friday

Happy Good Friday!  I'm excited for Easter weekend to begin and even more excited for Chris to get home early from work today!  We have a very busy weekend ahead of us, but I'm super excited for it!  As usual, I'm linking up with DarciAprilChristina and Natasha's blogs for their Five on Friday!

One

We had a breakfast play date this week with some of our friends.  We each brought a dish and had fun socializing while the boys played.  I made banana bread and also loved this egg & sausage casserole.  I stuffed my face and Noah wouldn't eat a thing.

We LOVE our Lollacup!  We heard about it on Shark Tank originally and when Noah started using a zippy cup, we immediately ordered one.  It's definitely one of Noah's favorite cups, so we just ordered another one so he has one for milk and one for water/juice.  This time we got the red cup, since red/pink seems to be his favorite color now ;)  He also loves sitting in his booster seat.  But instead of it being on a chair, he likes it on the floor.  It baffles me why he prefers to sit on this hard chair instead of his nice comfortable PBKids chair!

Three

I got a manicure and pedicure yesterday.  Now I'm all ready for Easter Sunday! My usual place is closed for renovations.  I totally forgot, so I just kept driving until I found another place (not hard to do in this area).  Thankfully, the place turned out to be nice.  I still prefer my normal place, but at least my nails look nice now.

Four

I am participating in this great cause for the Children's Hospital in our town.  It's called The Jared Box Project.  I am going to Target to pick up some fun things for these kids to play with while they are in the hospital.

Every once in a while, I take a picture of Noah, where I see a glimpse of what he will look like as a boy.  I know he will be a super handsome boy and man, but it scares me too because it's all going by way too fast!
