Wow... say that ten times fast! Be warned... this post contains A LOT of pictures!
Chris got home early from work on Wednesday and didn't have to go back in until Monday morning...yay! Whenever we have more than a 2 day weekend, we like to plan a few things to do as a family.
On Thursday (the actual 4th), we tried not to make too many plans. We did our little photo shoot with Noah, stopped by the mall for lunch and a few errands, and then went to the pool after dinner. And Chris of course had hot dogs for dinner and watched Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. The whole thing (the contest, not hot dogs) disgusts me, but Chris watches it every year!
On Saturday, we went for Noah's 2nd Swim Class! I took my good camera again and tried to sneak some shots from up above. I only got a few before I got yelled at again! We then headed over to my parents' house. We spent the afternoon in the baby pool and I'm so glad I got a bunch of pictures of Noah with my mom. For as much time as they spend together, we really didn't have that many pictures of them together! We then stayed for a Farewell Party they were having for a family in their church. I helped my mom make some of the food... can you tell I LOVE cheese!
On Sunday, we went over to Chris' parents' house for a BBQ. I got inspired by Pinterest and made a patriotic fruit salad to bring over. Noah got to see his Great Great Uncle Bobby and Aunt Judy again, and meet their son, David.
Uncle Bobby would say "boo" to Noah, and he would just start laughing... we even got in on video.
Hope you all had a great 4th of July Weekend... I know we did!
