Health: Noah has been tugging at his left ear a lot lately. I figured it must be associated with teething, but then he was congested and had a cough Tuesday morning. So to play it safe I took him to the doctor. Thankfully, he doesn't have an ear infection and she said he looks healthy.
Sleep: Noah's sleep has been a little random this week. He's started waking up a few times in the middle of the night. I think it's because he rolls over and wakes himself up, but he goes to bed around 8:30/9, wakes up around midnight, 3am, and 6am. Sometimes he just needs to be rolled back over and patted to sleep, other times to be glided, and sometimes he needs 2-4 ounces to put him back to sleep. I knew this sleeping through the night was too good to be true :)
Some days he won't nap much all day, and then he will take a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. While other days he takes a good 2 hour nap in the morning and another 2 hour nap in the afternoon.
This was just staged... we didn't actually take Noah down that huge slide!
We ate lunch at Chipotle al fresco. Noah loved being outside without his hat, jacket, and socks on... he was in heaven!
We also got these Munchkin travel containers, mainly to carry his formula, but sometimes to transport his oatmeal or rice cereal with us.
Daddy Time: I decided to replace the crying section with Daddy Time. Noah is a really happy baby and only cries when he's tired or hungry. Chris loves spending time with Noah. Chris gets home from work at 6:30, and wants to spend all his time with Noah until he goes to bed. On the weekends, Chris wants to do EVERYTHING! He changes his diapers, feeds him, and plays with him non stop. Chris really is the best dad... he works super hard so that I can stay home with Noah, and when he's home he just wants to be with Noah!
This week we had a rotisserie chicken for dinner and Chris saved the wishbone. He really wanted to "break" the wishbone with Noah. Obviously that didn't actually happen, but it was a cute photo op.
Milestones: Chris saw Noah roll over on Saturday evening. When he woke up at 8:30 pm, I went to put the burp cloth down on the changing table and during those 10 seconds that I was turned around he rolled over! I'm so upset that I missed it but glad that Chris was able to see it first, since chances are I will see most of Noah's firsts while Chris is at work.

Noah is "talking" non stop. It's just cooing, but we think it's amazing! So obviously, we had to get a video of him doing it!
Noah is getting better at sitting up every day. I've been trying to have him sit in his bumbo seat more often. I'm not sure if he's struggling to sit up straight or if he's just fascinated by his foot :)

In addition to grabbing toys, my hair, and my glasses, he now likes to touch our faces and hold onto our chins.
Noah loves putting anything and everything into his mouth!

Happy 23 Weeks Noah!
