Baby Noah - Week 22

Weight:  Noah is about 19 1/2 lbs.

Sleep:  Noah is still a great sleeper.  He goes to bed between 8 and 9 and wakes up between 5:30 and 6:30.   This week his morning naps were a little shorter than normal, only lasting 30-45 minutes.  But on days that we were out, he was taking 2 hour naps late in the afternoon, and even missed dinner one night as a result.  He slept from 4:30 - 7pm, then woke up for an hour, and was back to sleep at 8pm for the night.

Clothes:  Still wearing 6-12 or 9 months size clothes.

Social:  Easter weekend was filled with a lot of social activities.  We were so busy that it got it's own post this week.

This week we took a couple trips to the mall.  I had ordered a bunch of stuff online in hopes to find an Easter outfit and as a result had to do a lot of returns.   I also went looking for outfits for us to wear for a family picture.

On Wednesday, our friend Elena came by on her lunch hour and we met her at Panera.  Noah loved staring at her while she told stories.  It was the cutest thing ever!  Noah really loves to just observe, so he'd much rather just watch people talk than be the center of attention.

Diet:  Noah tried sweet potatoes on Sunday and we are trying peaches this morning.  So far he really likes the sweet potatoes... gobbles them right up!

Baby Gear Love:  We really do love his activity mat.   Now he even lifts his feet right and kicks the elephant :)

Crying:  Noah peed in his bath for the first time and it really startled him (and us)!  Right afterwards he started crying... it was so sad to watch.

Milestones:  Noah celebrated his first Easter!

Noah also rolled over for the first time on Thursday!  He sleeps on his stomach at night, but at 2:30am I woke up and I see on the monitor that he is on his back and awake.  I got him back to sleep, and again at 5:30, I woke up to this image.

I still haven't seen him actually roll over, but he is getting very bendy during the day!

Noah and I also went to the grocery store for the first time all on our own!  We just grabbed a few things for dinner that night, so fortunately I could just push his stroller around.

Likes:  Anything he can grab on to!  Noah has an amazing grip now.  Try to take his rings from him and you'll have to really pull.  It's really bad when he locks his grip onto my hair or glasses!

Noah, also liked some of his Easter Basket goodies... his Peter Rabbit stuffed animal and book :)

He also got this super adorable mustache pacifier!

Postpartum:   Not much new this week for me personally.  I'm still taking my photography class.  I'm also trying to get Noah out each day where we can walk a bit.  I find it's more fun walking with him versus leaving him to go to the gym.  I really can't wait for the weather to get nicer.  While the temperatures are starting to rise and the sun is out on a more regular basis, it is often very windy!
