21 Weeks!

How far along?  21 weeks
Baby Size: A banana.. the ultrasound tech said he's 14 oz!
Total weight gain/loss: 10 lbs
Maternity clothes?  Yup
Stretch marks?  None yet.
Sleep:  This week it was horrendous.  I'm in so much pain and having trouble getting comfortable at night.  Then at 3 or 4 am I wake up and a couple of nights I didn't fall back to sleep at all after that... very frustrating!
Best moment this week:  Finding out Baby Flinn is a BOY!
Miss Anything? Being pain free.
Movement:  Tons... at first it was always on the lower left side but now it's shifted to the center part of my lower stomach.  From the ultrasound I think it's his moving hands that I'm feeling.
Food cravings:  Nothing really so far.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nothing this week was bad, but I still don't like the smell or taste of fish.
Have you started to show yet:  Oh Yeah.
Gender: BOY!!!!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms:  The biggest thing now is my sciatica nerve pain... it's absolutely unbearable.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? Off... I haven't worn them all week.
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy about Baby Flinn, but a wreck because of the pain I'm in.
Looking forward to:  Shopping for the little boy and finding things for the nursery!

At the ultrasound, we were able to see all the different parts of our little boy, his heart, head, hands, feet, etc.  At the end after she entered all the measurements she was able to tell us that Baby Flinn was about 14 oz.  She said that he was head down with his feet sticking up towards my right side.  She had a hard time getting all of the heart pictures at first because of how he was positioned, so she had to make him move by tapping my stomach with the ultrasound device.  He was moving around a lot, but not always the way she wanted him to lol.

We also found out that the umbilical cord is connected to the placenta in an odd way... usually it's connected right in the center, but mine is towards the right which apparently can interfere with the amount of nutrients that get passed through.  So as a result they will be monitoring me with more ultrasounds towards the end to make sure this little boy is growing correctly.
