20 Weeks... Halfway There!!!

How far along?  20 weeks... we are halfway there!
Baby Size: A cantaloupe
Total weight gain/loss: 9+ lbs
Maternity clothes?  Yup
Stretch marks?  None yet.
Sleep:  Sleeping has been horrible lately.  I am exhausted by 9:30, but without fail, after I get up at 3 to use the bathroom I cannot fall asleep for another hour or two... it's very frustrating!
Best moment this week:  Hearing the baby's heartbeat at my doctor appointment on Monday.
Miss Anything? Sleep and being ache-free.
Movement:  I've been feeling some movement in the middle of the night (when I am trying to fall back to sleep at 3am).
Food cravings:  Nothing really so far.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nothing this week was bad.
Have you started to show yet:  Yes, and the extra weight in my stomach is starting to wear on my body.
Gender prediction: Not sure if I am changing my mind, but I keep thinking of all the cute things I can do with either.
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms:  The heartburn has calmed down, but the swelling is still bad.  I've had some very bad back and side pain  this week.  It makes me worry how much worse it's going to get!  I ordered some yoga dvds and went for acupuncture to hopefully help with the pain.
Belly Button in or out? In, though it's definitely started to change.
Wedding rings on or off? I officially stopped wearing them this past Wednesday.  I think the combination of being 20 weeks and this crazy heat wave going on has contributed to me swelling.
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy, but since I've been getting physically exhausted lately I can get pretty emotional at times.  Many days I don't even want to go out!
Looking forward to:  This week is big... we have our first pregnancy class and we find out Baby Flinn's gender on Thursday!!!!

  1. Hi Meghan! You are one cute momma!! I saw your comment on my blog but didn't see an email--anyway, Parker sleeps in the Nap Nanny on the floor in our room. Our room is tiny too, but so is the Nap Nanny! And it weighs 3 pounds so it's easy to move around. I would recommend it over a bassinet. There is a warning not to put it in anything like a crib--safety precaution. Hope this helps!
